As an Ohio resident, there are many things I can complain about...and often I do. However, every fall, I find myself feeling grateful, lucky even, to reside in a state with such impressive fall produce. I mean, have you seen how big some of these midwestern farmers can grow their pumpkins? Ohio is not just the "buckeye state," it's also well-known for its apple yield. Growing up, every fall would mean a trip to White House Fruit Farm to scoop up freshly picked apples, warm blueberry donuts, and ice-cold apple cider. I still look forward to apple cider season as it brings back fabulous memories and signifies that Halloween season is also in full swing. Now, as an adult, I am always looking to booze-ify things I loved as a kid. Enter apple cider cocktails, the perfect way to elevate a tried-and-true fall beverage. Whether you're planning a brunch for your roomies or looking to make a cocktail after a long week of classes, these apple cider cocktails from TikTok are easy to make and ideal for an autumnal pick-me-up.

#SpoonTip: Drinking can be fun, but be responsible. Spoon does not promote binge or underage drinking. Stay safe!

Caramel Apple Cocktail

For my sweet cocktail fans, this drink is def for you, and it's so easy to make. Add one shot of caramel vodka (vanilla would also be tasty), top off your glass with ice, apple cider, and fresh apple slices. Dust with cinnamon or add a caramel drizzle, and you will have the best brunch beverage.

Apple Cider Margarita

Pair your harvest-inspired brunch entrees with these perfectly delightful apple cider margaritas. User @choosing_balance says her recipe yields four drinks. Mix 3.5 cups of apple cider with 6 ounces of tequila, 2 ounces of triple sec, and 4 tablespoons of lime juice. Pour over ice and garnish with a cinnamon stick, and add a cinnamon sugar rim if you're going for a picture-perfect drink platter.

Spiked Cider Punch

This recipe could not be any easier. TikTok user @fivefootfeminine shows how to turn this into a big-batch party drink, but you can simply mix one or two shots of spiced rum with a nearly full glass of apple cider. Frankly, apple spice might just be the new pumpkin spice

Apple Cider Spritz

Admittedly, I love turning any drink into a spritz. I mean, it's just so classy, light, and bubbly. In a glass filled with ice, add in 2 ounces of apple cider and 1 ounce of lemon juice, then measure with your heart as you fill the rest of the glass with sparkling white wine and club soda. (I tend to heavily pour my Prosecco with just a touch of club soda.) Sip through a straw and dream of your next pumpkin patch date.

Fall Gin & Tonic

Through and through, I am a G&T girlie. I love Empress 1908 like my child and sip this recipe when I feel my most fancy. Add about 2 ounces of apple cider, 1 ounce of gin, and a squeeze of fresh orange juice in an ice-filled glass, then top it all off with tonic water. Start practicing your orange twist garnishes to perfect them in time when you host friends.
