These dorm room overnight oats are a great solution—they are simple, healthy, and something that you can make to grab and go in the morning.

Oats are great to have before class because they will keep you full for a long time. Additionally, oats can lower your cholesterol, improve blood sugar control, and they are a great source of carbs and fiber.  Plus, with the addition of Greek yogurt and almond butter,  you can add some extra protein for your day.

Although this recipe is for blueberry overnight oats, there are so many ways to customize your oats to how you like them, simply by switching up the toppings! Some other topping ideas could include mixed nuts, goji berries, chocolate chips, bananas, shredded coconut, or other fresh fruits! There are enough combinations out there for you to have overnight oats every morning of the week

The best thing about overnight oats is that they are easy to tailor to your own tastes. Additionally, they likely will not require much effort in grocery shopping or preparation. I bought nearly all of these ingredients at Target, but most ingredients you would need for overnight oats can be found at any grocery store or even, on campus.

I also love Trader Joe's for breakfast ingredients. They have a wide variety of granolas, and reasonably priced berries. My friends have also tried this recipe, and agree that it is extremely convenient and simple to make.

Overall, I would highly recommend adding these dorm room overnight oats into your breakfast routine. When you wake up to an already made, healthy, fresh breakfast, you feel ready to take on your day. It's quick, cheap, and delicious—what more could you ask for at Breakfast time?
