Something shifted in the universe when the trailer for the new movie Wonka was released this past summer, in which Timothée Chalamet is playing Willy Wonka. The film is a prequel to the classic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but instead of embracing the childhood nostalgia that this franchise holds, people took to making memes of Chalamet’s interpretation Willy Wonka’s character.

Memes aside, there is clearly a lot of buzz about the film (which will be out December 15, btw), and IHOP is taking advantage of it. The breakfast chain partnered with Warner Bros. to create a Wonka-inspired menu, including nine fantastical bites, drinks, and treats that are infused with the playful whimsy of Willy Wonka himself — or maybe it’s just the cringey energy of Timothée Chalamet. Regardless, you’re gonna wanna give this IHOP Wonka menu a try, especially if you have a major sweet tooth.

What’s on the IHOP Wonka menu?

First, and perhaps the most eye-catching, is Wonka’s Perfectly Purple Pancakes, which are purple buttermilk pancakes layered with cheesecake mousse and purple cream cheese icing. The finishing touch is the whipped cream and gold glitter sugar. I bet you’ve never seen a pancake that looks like this before.

The Hoverchoc Pancake Tacos include 3 silver dollar chocolate pancakes folded and stuffed with chocolate chips, cheesecake mousse, strawberries, and chocolate drizzle.

The Daydream Berry Biscuit is a buttermilk biscuit that got a sugary upgrade. It’s filled with cheesecake mousse and mixed berry topping, and piled high with purple cream cheese icing and powdered sugar.

The Jr. Magical Breakfast Medley includes a Perfectly Purple Pancake, a scrambled egg, a bacon strip, and a sausage link.

Then there’s Willy’s Jr. French Toast Dippers — arguably the most tame item on this menu — which includes sliced french toast with a side of strawberries, banana, and chocolate dipping sauce.

The Dreamy Lemonade will make you feel like you are at a carnival. It’s a prickly pear-flavored lemonade that comes with a cream cheese icing rainbow sprinkle rim and a glorious topping of cotton candy.

For a magical twist on hot chocolate, try the Scrumdiddlyumptious Strawberry Hot Chocolate, which is hot chocolate flavored with strawberry syrup, topped with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and gold glitter sugar.

Lastly, something for the savory lovers! The Fantastical Wonka Burger is a Angus beef steak burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, four-cheese blend, avocado, 2 strips of bacon, fried hash browns, IHOP sauce, and ranch drizzle, all on a brioche bun. It comes with your choice of French fries, onion rings, fruit, two buttermilk pancakes, or a salad.

Where can I try the IHOP Wonka menu?

These magical treats can be found at participating IHOP locations in the U.S. starting today, November 27 until January 7.
