Adult Happy Meals Are Back At McDonald’s

Growing up, the only thing more exciting than a chicken nugget was a McDonald’s chicken nugget. The red and yellow box? Going down the slide at the play place? Finally getting the toy you’ve wanted?! If you miss when a Happy Meal would solve all of your problems, look no further. Last year, McDonald’s offered an adult Happy Meal in collaboration with Cactus Plant Flea Market, and this year, the fast food chain is back with a brand new collab.

What is the McDonald’s Adult Happy Meal?

Kerwin Frost, Harlem-based DJ, entertainer, and lifelong fan of McDonald’s, announced a collaboration with Mickey D’s on an exciting new Happy Meal. Frost is known for his streetwear style and comedy chops alike on his YouTube channel.

What is in the McDonald’s Adult Happy Meal?

The Kerwin Frost Box comes with your choice of a Big Mac or 10 McNuggets, as well as fries and a soft drink. That’s not all, though. The McBuddies are the new collectible toy, each with their own outfit and personality. McNugget Buddies were first introduced by McDonald’s in 1988, last seen in 1996. The characters have been updated, with now the six McBuddies all living in “Frost Way,” which is supposed to represent Frost’s neighborhood in Harlem as a child. See if you can collect all six: Waffutu, Uptown Moe, Brrrick, Darla, Don Bernice, and, of course, Kerwin.

The internet is ready for this team up with one Instagram commenter saying,“THIS IS MY FAVORITE MCDONALDS COLLAB TO DATE!” and another, “OH MY GOD LETS GO FAM.”

When will the McDonald’s Adult Happy Meal be available?

The Kerwin Frost Box debuts in the U.S. on December 11.
