McDonald’s might be known for the Big Mac, but their sodas also deserve some recognition. McDonald’s Coke tastes 100 times better than regular Coke (blame it on their pre-chilled syrups and water filtration systems), and their Sprite is strong af. Well, to add to their line of soda streams, McDonald’s, in collaboration with Sprite, has launched a whole new soda flavor called MIX by Sprite Tropic Berry.
The New Flavor Flave
The new Sprite flavor combines the original taste of Sprite with tropically-inspired fruit flavors—think strawberry, orange, and pineapple flavors. It’s preeeeetty similar to Sprite Remix, which lived for a limited time on store shelves and had strawberry and pineapple flavors. But with the added orange, this is a completely new flavor exclusive to the fast food chain.
If we know anything about McDonald’s sodas, this ish is gonna be crisp and delicious. But seriously, that name, MIX by Sprite Tropic Berry, is long. Can we just call this Sprite Remix + orange like we want to?
Where and When It’s Available
Those in New York City will have the first opportunity to try MIX by Sprite Tropic Berry at any participating location. But by Summer 2018, nearly all McDonald’s nationwide will be treated to the new soda flavor.
Also, as part of McDonald’s new $1 $2 $3 Dollar Menu, all beverages, including this one, are only a dollar. So if you’re in NYC, stop into a McD’s and get yourself a MIX. It’s only $1! But if you have to wait until summer to get your hands on it, get your Burnett’s ready—I’m thinking this would make for one killer mixer in a summer cocktail.
