Recap: Skinny Betch Bowl’s App Launch Party

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at American chapter.

Skinny Betch Bowl (AKA Roxanna) is a DC based Instagrammer  and a nutrition blogger who posts beautiful photos of smoothie bowls and gluten-free goodies. Lucky for us, she launched her very own app last weekend.

It’s chock full of amazing recipes that attendees were able to try at her launch party.

Spoon AU was lucky enough to go to her launch party at the Graham Hotel in Georgetown and try some of Roxanna’s amazing recipes that can be found on her website.

There was a smoothie bar with three types of smoothies, cauliflower fried rice, sweet potato fries with guacamole, avocado on toast, quinoa salad, zucchini noodles, almond flour pancakes and more.

The party was full of people from the DC food industry, like Spoon AU, Spoon Georgetown, Chaia and Fruitive, as well as her friends and family.

At the end of the night, Roxanna gave out take home gifts, which were little mason jars with the dry ingredients for her chocolate chip cookies. All we need to do now is add coconut oil and an egg.

So if you want to try some new recipes that are delicious without the guilt, download Skinny Betch Bowl’s app on the App Store of Google Play. You can find recipes from juices to brownies to entrees to whatever your heart desires.
