Season 6 of Love is Blind is already underway with nine episodes released on Netflix since Valentine’s Day. Though there are three more episodes that will roll out over the next two Wednesdays, the cast has already made a long-lasting impression on viewers everywhere. **Warning, spoilers ahead**
This unique dating experiment brings together 30 singles who are hoping to find love without seeing the other person. They spend 10 days dating in “pods” where a wall separates them and their date. If they form a close enough connection, they may get engaged and can finally meet face-to-face. This season, four couples got engaged in the pods, later taking a trip to the Dominican Republic before heading back to merge their lives at home in Charlotte, North Carolina.
As a Love is Blind binge-watcher, I’ve developed my own opinions on this season’s “Pod Squad,” especially the engaged couples and the love triangles that formed. As a self-proclaimed foodie, there’s no better way for me to show my opinions than showing you all what I would feed these cast members based on what we’ve seen.
Jessica — McDonald’s Happy Meal
Jessica and her daughter, Autumn, are a packaged deal, so we have to make sure her meal is kid-approved.
Jimmy — Prune Juice
Jimmy needs a drink as bitter as he was when he found out Chelsea didn’t look exactly like Megan Fox. He might be able to manifest her with this drink that many celebs swear by.
Chelsea — Fettuccine Alfredo
It’s clear that Chelsea just wants some comfort from her fiancé, and if Jimmy is acting distant, maybe she just needs some comfort food. In my opinion, there’s nothing more comfortable than fettuccine alfredo.
A.D. — Protein Shake
As a former New England Patriots cheerleader, A.D. is very strict about her diet. A protein shake would be perfect for her, but add some honey and fresh berries to make it as sweet as her personality.
Clay — Matcha Latte
Clay is getting into his introspective, self-care journey. He’s in his oat milk matcha era, and I’m here for it.
Kenneth — Chicken Pot Pie
Chicken pot pie is perfect for an old soul like Kenneth. I love chicken pot pie, and it’s just as traditional and southern as the vibes Kenneth gives off.
Brittany — Spicy Chicken Sandwich
Brittany and Kenneth split up early into their time back in Charlotte. Brittany wanted a spark, but she might need to ease into it with something like a spicy chicken sandwich.
Jeramey — Fish, Chips, & Mushy Peas
Jeramey is up to some fishy stuff this season, especially with his love triangle with Laura and Sarah Ann. I also just added mushy peas because they weird me out, and so does he.
Sarah Ann — Hailey Bieber’s Erewhon Smoothie
Early in the season, Sarah Ann shared her impressive social media following with viewers. In the spirit of influencers, it’s only right that she gets an Erewhon Smoothie — probably the Instagrammable Hailey Bieber one.
Laura — Plain Oatmeal
Laura needs a meal with zero flavor to balance out her argumentative personality.
Johnny — Chicken and Rice
A structured meal for a structured man. Johnny wants to be prepared for everything that is coming his way, especially children. This meal has no surprises, just two ingredients, hopefully it won’t stress him out too much.
Amy — Acai Bowl
Amy is like a breath of fresh air this season. Her positive and laid back personality reminds me of eating an acai bowl on a hot day.
