10 Clubs and Bars in Miami You Need to Hit Up Over Spring Break

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Denison chapter.

We all want to get our drank on when we’re in Miami and we all want to get our drank on during spring break. Spring break and Miami together is a lethal duo. I’ve put together a list of the 10 best spring break bars and clubs in Miami to hit up. This list will satisfy your needs from boujee strip clubs to neighborhood chum bars, and you won’t be disappointed.

1. E11EVEN

Go hard or go home, am I right?! E11EVEN, in Downtown Miami, is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. You can spend your whole spring break clubbing here and literally never leave if your heart desires.

Bring your wallet and a stack of ones, because this club has strippers among the strobe lights and house music. But it’s not your “average” strip club scene. If you’re not into that, you’ll have a fun time anyways.

2. LIV

LIV is located in the Fontainebleau Hotel and open Wednesday to Sunday from 11 pm to 5 am. It’s known to be one of the harder clubs to get into—rumor has it they’ll pick and choose the most attractive girls out of the line. If you’ve got the dough to spend, word on the street is reserving a table will make you look like a boss.

3. STORY

Another nightclub you should be sure to hit is STORY. With their amazing music and on-point aesthetic, all of your Snapchat friends will be raging with jealousy. It has five bars and bottle service, so all your needs will surely be met.

4. Bodega Taqueria y Tequila

I highly suggest starting your night at Bodega. Happy hour is 6 to 8 pm daily and they offer $2 tacos, $4 draft beers, and $5 double tequila shots. It’s not going to get much cheaper than this in Miami.

6. Ted’s Hideaway

Ted’s Hideaway is truly hidden and a classic for many locals. Lucky for you, I got the DL on this place from some University of Miami students and this bar is a must-go. Play pool and throw one back with the neighborhood chum.

7. The Delano

The Delano Hotel brings bad and boujee to a whole new level. Picture insanely high ceilings, all white, big, round columns up to the ceiling, and white sheets hanging from the ceiling when you walk into the lobby. Walk straight back to a pool lined with palm trees and private cabanas. You are bound to feel like royalty drinking at the bar in the Hotel Delano.

8. Drinkhouse Fire and Ice

Take a break from the heat and sun and try out Miami’s first ice bar. You have the dual experience of an ice vodka bar and a separate fire lounge. It’s definitely a cool spot to hang.

9. Wet Willie’s

How can you turn down a frozen drink in the Miami heat (especially when it’s spiked)? Quench your thirst at this make-your-own, frozen daiquiri bar.

10. Kill Your Idol

KYI is different than your average tourist bar or club in Miami. Drag Mondays, Karaoke Thursdays, Burlesque Fridays, and House Music Saturdays. Have a night for the books at this one-of-a-kind bar.

Not gonna lie, you will definitely be dropping cash if you hit up all these bars and clubs over spring break. But, it is Miami, what do you expect? Your bank account may take a major L over break, but it’s worth it (right?).
