Calling all University of Delaware students and people of Newark. Geoswap, a new mobile app, is offering exclusive coupons and discounts for businesses throughout West and East Main Street in Newark all month long.
Created by three University of Delaware graduates, Geoswap is a location-based information app that takes the user's location and displays places and events that are happening within the community. Newark Month with the Geoswap app starts Saturday, August 26th and continues on for four weeks.
For Newark Month, the app displays the events and attractions broken down by day, allowing people to plan ahead. All you have to do is show your smart phone screen to the cashier at the business to get the discount.
“Our goal is to show the students and locals that there are always things going on and that GeoSwap is the best place to go to find them. We have exclusive deals to some of the best places on Main Street, but on top of that, we also have the school events so everyone can always find something interesting to do," says Jordan Gonzalez, CMO of GeoSwap.
