This Berry and Peach Salad Is the One Recipe You Should Have on Hand If You Love Peaches

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at NCSU chapter.

With peach season in full swing, there are thousands upon thousands of juicy peaches that are just waiting to be eaten. Here in the South, peach cobbler is the reigning champion of peach recipes- but not for long. This berry and peach salad will both satisfy your sweet tooth and make you feel healthy AF. This homemade recipe has been adapted from Once Upon a Chef’s Peaches & Berries with Lemon-Mint Syrup, with the slight drizzle of balsamic glaze.

    Gather all necessary ingredients.

  2. Olivia Chadwick

Cut peaches into thin slices. I used white peaches for this recipe.

Add fresh berries. For more color, add raspberries!

Add lemon juice and chopped mint.

Drizzle with balsamic glaze and lightly toss.

Tip: The flavors blend together if you let the fruit salad marinate in the balsamic glaze for an hour or two.

This easy, quick summer salad is perfect for a scorching hot July day. Bring it to an Independence Day cookout, a friend’s birthday party, or make it for yourself to munch on by the pool.

Not “dessert” enough for you?

Serve with a scoop (or two) of creamy vanilla ice cream for a show stopping, elegant dessert. Get creative with the ingredients- add a pinch of sugar for sweetness, a few raspberries for tartness, or lime juice for an extra tang. Who knew this summertime berry and peach salad would be so addicting?
