I’m a die hard fan of any and all hot sauces, and I’ll put it on just about anything. From Sriracha to Frank’s Red Hot, you can take your meal to the next level by adding just a ‘lil bit of spice. I tried out a ton of dishes and added hot sauce to each one, and these are undoubtedly the ones that need it most.
Popcorn
It’s time to elevate your popcorn. Drizzling your favorite hot sauce over a bowl of buttery popcorn with a pinch of salt and some yummy parmesan cheese is a surefire way to spice up your movie night. Also, a bowl of spicy popcorn is way healthier than the average soda and candy that a movie night usually entails.
Eggs
Your eggs are about to get a whole lot tastier. By adding hot sauce to your basic breakfast, you’re totally stepping up your game. A spicy breakfast sandwich, like that tasty one above, or a spicy hollandaise, is a game changer. Trust me.
Mexican Hot Chocolate
The best way to stay warm this winter is to add a little heat to the best cold weather drink. Mix in vanilla extract, cinnamon, and the hot sauce of your choosing for your new favorite drink.
Average Burger
This is not an average burger anymore. Mix in some hot sauce with your ketchup and change your burger game forever. Or, if you have time to spare, sauté onions in a pan and gradually add hot sauce, coating the onions. Adding that to the top of your burger is a definite way to impress.
Pizza
Try drizzling hot sauce over your pizza, and you’ll step up your typical Friday night dinner. Typically, this works over most pizza toppings but pairs especially well with pepperoni.
Bloody Mary
Time to make your Sunday brunch Bloody Mary even spicier. Adding a bit of hot sauce to the iconic brunch drink will take your boozing to the next level. Yum!
Hummus
Mix in hot sauce with a plain hummus and find your new favorite afternoon snack. Try it with bread, crackers, or veggies for a light but flavor-packed snack.
