Slay Your Next Brunch With This Easy Puff Pancake

So, you love brunch. We do too. Going to restaurants and patiently waiting for that delicious plate of eggs Benedict while sipping bottomless mimosas is a more than satisfying way to spend your weekend. If you have access to a kitchen, cooking brunch at home can be a fun way for you to socialize without having to put on pants or leave a tip.

This puffy pancake is perfect for a crowd. It rises in the oven and puts on its own little show. Plus, it only takes 20 minutes to bake, which means more time for cocktails. Thanks, science.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 6 eggs

Step 1

Get the ingredients.

#SpoonTip: The OJ can be substituted for orange liqueur for an extra kick.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 425°F.

Step 3

Unwrap the stick of butter and place it in a 13×9 baking pan. Put the pan in the oven while it preheats to melt the butter.

#SpoonTip: You gotta be careful about this so the butter doesn’t burn.

Step 4

Put all the ingredients in the blender and let them blend.

Pour the blended frothy pre-pancake goodness in the pan with the melted butter.

Set the timer for 20 minutes and wait for this baby to bake.

When it’s all done baking, get to the oven quick so you can see the puffy pancake before it deflates.
