Apple Pie Cookies Perfect for When You Can't Commit to the Real Thing

People have been creating variations of apple pie for decades, but this might be the best one yet. These cookies, made from pie crust and apple filling and complete with a lattice top, are the perfect alternative to the traditional Thanksgiving dessert. They smell like apple pie, they look like apple pie, but they're not apple pie—they're something much better. Beware, though, these cookies tend to disappear within seconds so make sure you bake enough for everyone.
