I was introduced to WinCo about a year ago, and it definitely ties Trader Joe’s for my favorite grocery store. That’s saying a lot, because I cherish my grocery trips (how #adult of me). If you live in Arizona, Idaho, California, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Utah, or Washington, do yourself a favor and search for the closest WinCo location. You won’t regret it.

Below are just a few reasons why I fell in love with WinCo.

1. Low Prices

By not accepting credit cards, and asking customers to bag their own groceries, WinCo is able to keep prices low. I’m talking really low. I got strawberries for $2 last week and freaked out.

2. Fresh Baked WinCo Bread

WinCo bread is warm and soft and wonderful. Oh, and IT’S LESS THAN A DOLLAR. Are you kidding me?

3. Bulk Food

Buying in bulk reduces the amount of packaging used and is often cheaper than buying prepackaged foods.

5. Cheap Tea

For all my tea fanatics out there, your prayers have been answered. In the bulk section at WinCo, you can get 10 bags of tea for $1.

6. Local Produce

Buying local produce has a number of benefits, including supporting the community and the fact that you’ll get fresher fruits and veggies. Check this out to see what local produce your WinCo offers.

7. WinCo Coupons

Using coupons isn’t exactly groundbreaking, but it does save you money. Search through WinCo’s online coupons by category, print them out, and feel like a damn adult when you use them at check-out.

8. Recipe Ideas

Not sure what to cook? Stroll through the bulk section and look for little white recipe sheets for some food inspiration.
