Wendy's Announces Another Specialty Frosty Perfect For Summer

One of my go-to, easy pick-me-ups is a Frosty. While I’m not a frequenter of the rest of Wendy’s menu, a Frosty is reliably refreshing every time. Personally, chocolate has always been my preferred flavor, (as I feel is the case for most) but over the years I’ve come to appreciate a Vanilla Frosty to dip fries in, or even the rare strawberry.

Over the past couple of years, Wendy’s has attempted to expand people’s palates with new, seasonal flavors of its most popular sweet treat. From pumpkin spice and peppermint, to the most recent orange creamsicle, these additions have been pretty successful! In the early stages of testing these out, there were very mixed opinions, some comparing the flavor to a candle or even wanting their money back. However, the public loved orange creamsicle, calling it a perfect summer treat. Wendy’s has concocted another flavor to fit that title, though.

So, what is the new Wendy’s frosty flavor?

Snackolator, a popular food blogger, just announced the Triple Berry Frosty. The flavor is said to be a mix of blackberries, strawberries, and raspberries. While the official release date is June 10, some have spotted it already at their location. This is another limited-edition item, so definitely grab it up while you can. Presumably, it will run for the entirety of the season, unless Wendy’s has yet another surprise in store for us.

What are the other summer offerings at Wendy’s?

This new flavor is just in time to complement the restaurant’s other “summer” item — Saucy Nuggs. Nuggets are probably the second most famous menu item for Wendy’s, making this an easy metamorphosis. Reminiscent of boneless wings, there are seven types of sauce you can coat your nuggets in. The flavors are Honey BBQ, Garlic Parm, Buffalo, Spicy Honey BBQ, Spicy Garlic Parm, Spicy Buffalo, and Spicy Ghost Pepper.

These additions to the chain’s menu definitely makes the brand stand out this summer. I can’t wait for June 10 to roll around so I can make my way to my local Wendy’s and try this new delightful-sounding Frosty for myself!
