TikTok’s latest Starbucks drink obsession just dropped, and many creators including Jordan Howlett (@jordan_the_stallion8) and Nimay Ndolo (@nimay.ndolo), are sharing their reactions. “This drink single-handedly made me like the fall season,” Howlett announced, after a couple of sips. “I think Starbucks is overpriced, but this one might be worth it.”
Ndolo humorously referred to it as the “new Starbucks drink that makes people speak in tongues.” For her, it was also love at first sip. “This is officially now my drink,” she said.
How do I order the drink?
This beloved drink, first gaining traction on TikTok with user Alfonso Foster in early October, is quite the thrilling order. It's a Starbucks iced pumpkin cream chai latte with oat milk, one pump of vanilla syrup, and two pumps of brown sugar syrup. It’s an extra-sweet take on the regular chai latte with pumpkin cold foam, a true testament to the versatility of the Starbucks drink.
“The vanilla and the brown sugar even out the flavor so well,” Howlett said.
Starbucks rolled out its fall menu at the end of August, which has given fans plenty of time to experiment and toy around with drink combinations. This drink is a modified version of the iced pumpkin cream chai tea latte, which Starbucks released as an official drink to their fall menu this year, inspired by the popular and widely-loved order of an iced chai with pumpkin cold foam.
Even as people are starting to look forward to the 2023 Starbucks holiday menu, iterations of the classic pumpkin spice latte and the pumpkin cream cold brew are still popping up. However, if you’re curious about this drink, it’s advisable to act sooner rather than later, as pumpkin spice and other fall items will be off the menu come November 1.
