Baja Blast is a nationwide sensation. Ever since Taco Bell introduced the product, it’s been the most popular of all of the chain’s drinks and has inspired a series of spin-off treats. 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the soda, and Mountain Dew and Taco Bell are coming together once more to celebrate! A slew of new products will be released over the next months, and I’m here to give you a roundup of them all today.
A New Taco Bell Stanley Cup Collab
Taco Bell has started doing weekly “Tuesday Drops,” some type of deal every Tuesday for app users. The drop for August 13 has been spoiled early, as a special Taco Bell x Stanley Tumbler. It’ll be dropping at 2 p.m. PST that day, and the first 100 users to redeem the offer can get the tumbler for free, no purchase necessary! Even better, the first 20 of those users will get a “Free Year of Baja Blast,” in the form of a $200 Taco Bell gift card. You have to be a Rewards Member to take advantage of these deals, but considering an account is free, this is an incredibly exciting offer.
Baja Blast Pie & Gelato
Earlier this month, I wrote about the Baja Blast Gelato, a highly anticipated product ever since Taco Bell teased it at the Live Màs event earlier this year. The ice cream finally has a release date — September 3. It’ll be available nationwide, although you can only order it through the app as a Rewards Member. There are allegedly very small quantities of it, so it won’t be available for too long. Taco Bell has also confirmed that the Baja Blast Pie, also premiered at the Live Màs event, will come later this year, although no date has been released yet.
Free/Cheap Drink Offers
Exclusively on July 29, all customers at Taco Bell can get a free Baja Blast! No purchase necessary or other strings attached, just one free drink. You can either get a medium Baja Blast fountain drink or regular Baja Blast Freeze with the deal.
The chain is also updating the rules around its Happy Hour, when drinks are typically half off. Now, every day from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., you can get the same medium Baja Blast or regular Baja Blast Freeze for just $1, even after the “Bajaversary” season ends.
