KFC Heats Up Value Wars With More $5 Taste Of KFC Deals

As summer temperatures and inflation continue to rise, it seems like every fast-food chain is now offering some sort of value meal deal at a discount. Starbucks dropped its new Pairings Menu, McDonald’s introduced the $5 Meal Deal, and Wendy’s has the Biggie Bag. Craving Mexican? Taco Bell now has the $7 Luxe Cravings Box. If you’re in the mood for breakfast, IHOP’s All You Can Eat Pancakes made a triumphant return in July. Want a sandwich? Luckily for you, Jimmy John’s entered the value meal game with its new $10 Total Package Meal. Now, it’s time for fried chicken: KFC is rolling out a brand-new lineup of $5 offers to its Taste of KFC Deals menu to provide more affordable and delicious options.

What’s in the Taste of KFC Meal Deal?

Starting today, fried chicken lovers can choose from three Taste of KFC Deals options for just $5.

If you like to keep it simple with classic nugs, opt for the $5 KFC Chicken Nuggets meal. It includes eight pieces of KFC’s delicious boneless nuggets hand-breaded with KFC’s Original Recipe, Secret Recipe Fries, and your choice of two sauces.

The next option is if you want something a little heartier. The $5 Famous Bowl with KFC Chicken Nuggets features a fresh-to-order bowl with a foundation of creamy mashed potatoes, sweet corn, and KFC’s 100% white meat chicken nuggets, layered together and drizzled with home-style gravy and topped with a perfect blend of three shredded cheeses.

Lastly, if you want bone-in chicken, the $5 Two-Piece Drum & Thigh meal comes with two pieces of hot, juicy chicken (drum and thigh), creamy mashed potatoes and gravy, and a buttery biscuit.

KFC is offering more deals.

As customers feel the impact of inflation, KFC is continuing to bring value when needed most without sacrificing quality. In addition to the new $5 Taste of KFC deals, fried chicken lovers can continue to indulge in the fan-favorite $10 Tuesdays and $20 Family Deal.

KFC is also extending its popular $10 Tuesdays deal which includes a bucket of eight pieces of hot, juicy drums and thighs. And, every day of the week, fried chicken fans can score a $20 Family Deal, which includes six pieces of KFC’s famous fried chicken, four individual sides of choice, and four buttery biscuits.

And, if that’s not enough bang for your buck, KFC offers combo meals for two, including options for a sandwich or chicken on the bone. KFC’s Sandwich and Nuggets Meal for Two includes your choice of two sandwiches (Classic or Spicy) along with a 10-piece of KFC’s 100 percent white meat nuggets, your choice of two individual sides and two medium drinks – all for just $15. Or, for the pair craving KFC classics, the Five-Piece Chicken on the Bone Meal for Two includes five pieces of chicken, your choice of two individual sides, two medium drinks, and two buttery biscuits – again for just $15.
