Holiday parties are a lot of fun to host but they also require hard work. This is why it is always helpful when your guests bring food. Just as each guest has a different story to offer, he or she has a different dish to provide too.

I've certainly hosted guests that are quite the characters. But, imagine if you had the opportunity to host your actual favorite movie characters. What would they bring to your holiday party? Well in the words of Clueless's Cher Horowitz, it's time to "haul ass to the kitchen, redistribute the food, and squish in extra place settings" because your guests are on their way with scrumptious appetizers and desserts.

Regina George: Baked Potato Bites

cream, bacon, sour cream
Cassandra Bauer

Rumor has it that Regina George will attend your holiday bash. I heard that this mean girl is bringing baked potato bites. They are perfect for her all carb diet, and they taste a lot better than those Kälteen Bars. Maybe her pal Gretchen will bring some Toaster Strudels. That would be so fetch

Forrest Gump: Shrimp

scallop, scampi, shellfish, prawn, seafood, shrimp
Spoon University

You can count on Forrest Gump to bring shrimp, and as host you will undoubtedly receive a box of chocolates to reward your hospitality

Minny Jackson: Fried Chicken Wings

pork, sauce, vegetable, chicken, meat
Shalayne Pulia

Wondering who made those mouthwatering fried chicken wings? Why that was The Help's Minny Jackson. What's her trick? Crisco. Although she's also famous for her chocolate pie, she's infamous for adding a special ingredient so I'd steer clear of that treat if you have ever done her wrong.

Will Hunting: Apple Pie

apple, vegetable, sweet
Isabella Neuberg

Good Will Hunting will bake a mean apple pie that will have all your other guests saying "how you like them apples?"

Buddy the Elf: Candy Cane Truffles

peanut, peanut butter, butter, chocolate
Erica Coulter

Buddy the Elf will have to pass through the seven levels of the candy cane forest, and through the sea of swirly twirly gum drops to get to your kitchen. His journey is long but he will surely be dressed for the occasion and have a scrumptious dessert in hand. His candy cane truffles cover one of the main elf food groups, and they will satisfy your sweet tooth. Dessert will be divine but if you want to save dinner, I highly recommend hiding the maple syrup.

Mia Thermopolis: Baked Pears

sweet, caramel, apple, honey
Kelsey Emery

The Princess Diaries' Mia Thermopolis is adding a little twist on Genovia's prized fruit by making baked pears. This five-ingredient recipe only takes twenty minutes to bake, leaving her with plenty of time to look like royalty for your party.

With these movie characters you will undoubtedly have a fabulous time. Fingers crossed there are leftovers!
