As Mercury exits retrograde, and we say bye-bye to our bad fortunes, we all are checking our horoscopes to see what shifts we can spot (whether we understand them or not). Horoscopes are a fun anecdote to lighten our day whether you just know your sun sign or you're a hardcore star child. Zodiac signs offer more than just an outward appearance. Aries are active and energetic signs that rely on tomatoes, brown rice, beans, walnuts, peanut butter, and bananas.

Milk is also a necessity to strengthen bones and the winning smile of an Aries.

Aries should avoid heavily salted foods and liquor. This will slow them down and take away from their energy by clogging their arteries. Remember to eat slow and drink lots of water!

Taurus have to be extra careful with their diet as they are known to retain weight easier and veer away from exercise. To maintain a steady weight, first steer clear of many starches, fats, and sugars.

Taureans should have a balanced intake of asparagus, cauliflower, cucumber, and pumpkin. Also, prone to thyroid issues, Taureans should eat seafood, which is rich in iodine, as well as eggs and wheat.

Geminis have a tough time relaxing so when they can, it's reviving. A lot of nervous energy creates stress and tension so high energy stimulants like caffeine and junk food should be avoided and supplemented with herbal teas.

Geminis should stick with foods such as: asparagus, green beans, tomatoes, celery, grapefruit, spinach, oranges, peaches, plums, and almonds. Also, incorporate shellfish, raisins, and milks and cheeses to help the bones and nerves.

Cancers are known for indulging in comfort foods when in low spirits; However sweets need to be limited and more  rich foods like egg yolks, whole-grain rye, yogurt, beets, and shellfish should be incorporated.

Milk, cheese, kale, and tomatoes will guarantee a calcium intake and protect the hair, skin, and nails.

Starches, sugars, salts, and spices should be cut out to avoid bloat and replaced with hot peppers and/or horseradish.

Leos have strong stomachs and can handle rich wines and meats. However, time will catch up to Leos, so it's important to eat healthy while young to maintain a balanced diet low in fatty foods and starches.

Leo’s need whole wheat and rye, nuts and seeds, apples, peaches, seafood, romaine, egg yolk, coconut, rice, cheese, and yogurt. They need to make sure to regulate iron levels by eating spinach, raisins, beef, and small amounts of dark chocolate.

Virgos have sensitive stomachs and should stay away from seasoned, spicy, or fried foods.

Potassium helps to regulate oil in the body and soothe muscles. Virgoans should stick with romaine, whole wheat, beef, walnuts, lentils, almonds, cheeses, oranges, bananas, and lemons.

To help with easy digestion, incorporate corn bread, yogurt, melon, and eggs.

Libras need sodium to deep cleanse the body. Stay away from acidic food and stick with apples, raisins, almonds, asparagus, peas, corn, carrots, spinach, tomatoes, and wheat. Librans should have high protein diets to keep them energize. Foods with high protein levels are seafood, and chicken, yogurt, cheese.

To protect the kidneys and overall complexion, avoid alcohol, soda, and seltzers.

Scorpios need to have a grasp on their diet to protect their mental health. Scorpios are prone to high alcohol use and tend to eat unbalanced diets which leads to illness.

To protect oneself from these issues have: cheese, milk, and yogurt. Nuts, fruits, and seafood should also be incorporated in small amounts. Supplement that second drink with water to ensure health and safety.

Sagittarians are adventurous outgoing people who don't have time to be held down by fats, starches, and alcohol.

They should have healthy diets to strengthen their nervous system health and help circulation in their hands and feet.

Fruits and vegetables, oats, grains, whole-grain and egg yolks should be the focus of their diets. Cream, butter, candy, chocolate, and alcohol should be avoided to protect against damage to their skin complexions as well as their livers. High-protein diets are essential for these outgoing personas so poultry and fish should also be incorporated along with exercise and water.

Capricorns are hard working, fast paced people who tend to skip meals or eat too much at once. To protect their bones and skin they should have a diet rich in protein and calcium. Foods to lean towards are oranges, celery, spinach, broccoli, peas, potatoes, almonds, corn, whole wheat, oats, kale, and brown rice. Everyday diets should consist of salads, chicken, fish, eggs, and/or fresh foods to guarantee a high protein intake. 

Aquarians seem to always be busy with new activities so have a hard time keeping a balanced diet. This leads to bad snacking which can interfere with a healthy weight.

Aquarians should make sure they have their balanced intake of salt, to maintain hydration. However, don't overindulge. The right foods to get the proper amount of the nutrient would be seafood, salad greens, corn, squash, lentils, walnuts, and pears.

Limit fatty foods, Cut down on coffee to alleviate nervousness and anxiety, and intake vitamin C. Foods to help with vitamin intake would be peppers, tomatoes, strawberries, and pineapple. 

Pisceans live life luxuriously and tend to treat themselves to eating and drinking into the late hours. This makes the body retain weight and should be avoided by implementing a well-balanced diet, exercise, and rest.

Pisces need to make sure they incorporate iron in their diets. Iron rich foods are red meats, fish, eggs, spinach, grapes, and oranges. These foods, as well as cheeses and chicken offer necessary proteins to give Pisceans the necessary energy to take on their long days. Pisces also should avoid coffee, alcohol, and salts as they are known to overindulge.
