Halo Top Brings New And Improved Recipe To Dairy-Free Ice Cream

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Hofstra chapter.

While summer might be coming to a close, that doesn’t mean you still can’t enjoy ice cream every once in a while. Heck, I mean, you can really have ice cream whenever you want. As long as you have a freezer and a spoon, you’re all set. Halo Top has gained popularity for their low-calorie pint ice creams and now they have improved their dairy-free recipe to make it even better.

Whether you’re lactose intolerant or just prefer dairy-free desserts, Halo Top has you covered with their new and improved recipe. The new dairy-free recipe is still made with a coconut milk base, but now contains fava bean protein. The fava beans create a smoother and creamier texture making the ice cream taste better than ever before.

To kick off the launch, Birthday Cake, Peanut Butter Cup, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough will be hitting store shelves in September.

Following the release, Candy Bar, Chocolate, Chocolate Almond Crunch and Sea Salt Caramel will hit the shelves in October.
