Wendy’s New Frosty Is A Dreamsicle Come True

There’s nothing quite like the immediate joy one hears the ice cream truck theme song rolling down the street. Back in the hot summer days when small bills and quarters were easy to find in mom’s purse, the hardest decision of the day would be what to order from said ice cream truck. Of course, you could opt for the animated character popsicles of Spongebob and the like, all with incredibly soulless gumball eyes. Classics such as the vanilla ice cream sandwich or the Choco Taco were always a good choice. However, no one ever would order the pre-packaged snow cone. That was clearly just for show. Though, one menu item is in a category all of its own: the Orange Dreamsicle. The delicious orange icy popsicle exterior encases a pillowy cloud of vanilla ice cream, offering the perfect mix of refreshing citrus and sweet cream. Now, you don’t have to wait for the ice cream truck or head to your local grocery store freezer aisle for your fix as the new Wendy’s Orange Dreamsicle Frosty is making its way to menus super soon.

When is Wendy’s releasing the Orange Dreamsicle Frosty?

Just in time for the first day of spring, Wendy’s is launching its seasonal flavor on March 19. The sweet vanilla frosty base is getting a facelift with added hints of orange to resemble a delicious childhood treat.

What other Frosty flavors are available right now?

Unfortunately, for fans of the Wendy’s Vanilla Frosty, its limited-time run is coming to a close. However, keep your eyes peeled for (hopefully) its glorious return later in the year.

Though, the Wendy’s Chocolate Frosty is still being served up in every restaurant, which is ideal. After all, it is the best flavor for fry dipping.

All in all, Wendy’s had really upped their Frosty game based on previous seasonal offerings including fall’s Pumpkin Spice Frosty and winter’s Peppermint Frosty. Who knows… we might even get a new summer flavor, too.
