Creative Community and Parents Getting Some Help from Pebbles Cereal

Pebbles Cereal, or cereal in general; it’s something that we should be eating for breakfast when we’re in a rush and don’t have time to make anything else, but unfortunately, that’s not the case most of the time. However, during this pandemic, we all have a little bit more time to eat breakfast in the mornings since the vast majority of us no longer have to commute in order to get to work; myself included. On the contrary, there are some people that are without jobs, and if you just so happen to be one of those people, Pebbles Cereal might be able to help you out.

Details, please

For the next couple of weeks, Pebbles Cereal is hiring creatives including artists, dancers, chefs, crafters, magicians and more, to create videos that will be posted to the brand’s Facebook, Instagram and website each day over the course of 30 days. Creators will be paid $1,500, the monthly median U.S. housing cost, for each video. A different creator’s work will be featured each day, and the videos will teach kids something new based on that creator’s special talent. This initiative also helps give parents a break as each activity is intended for kids to be able to do at home easily without special tools or adult supervision… which if you ask me, could potentially be dangerous, but thankfully no one is asking anyone to play with fire. If you would like to submit your own video idea for consideration in the series, send an email outlining your talent to submissions@publicworks.agency.

As for the videos themselves, they will start with the creator introducing themselves and telling the kids about their talent before they teach kids how to do something new. Parents are invited to join in on the fun, too. The videos will be released daily at 6 a.m. EST, so kids and parents can view the lessons together over breakfast; which if you ask me, is kind of really early for me, but I’m sure some of you will be dedicated enough to wake up that early to watch the videos when they premiere.

Now that you know how Pebbles Cereal is giving back to those during this pandemic, it’s time to support them during said pandemic. You can do such either by purchasing their products, or by following them on social media.
