Kellogg’s Releases Cinnamon Frosted Flakes, Drops Mic on Breakfast Table

Another cereal will be hitting cereal shelves in January 2017: Cinnamon Frosted Flakes.

A breakfast staple, Frosted Flakes is getting a cinnamon shake up after a demand for a cinnamon version on social media.

Brad Schwan, Kellogg’s senior director, said the cinnamon inspiration came from Twitter and Kellogg’s took it upon themselves to create the customer’s vision.

After cycling through over 100 variations, the company has turned Twitter dreams into reality, and will be launching Cinnamon Frosted Flakes this month, with wide distribution set to launch in January 2017.

For Cinnamon Frosted flakes, the sweetness is in the details, and the cinnamon will be part of the flake glaze to prevent it from washing off into the milk

This isn’t Kellogg’s first Frosted Flakes line extension in the cereal’s 64 year history.

Other versions include Cocoa Frosted Flakes, Frosted Flakes with marshmallows, and a version of Frosted Flakes packed with “energy” clusters.

If that doesn’t make my fellow cinnamon freaks and cereal lovers out there excited, I don’t know what will.

Spoons up to cereal gr-r-eatness!
