You have probably seen Potato Corner before at your Local Mall and haven’t thought much of it. But who doesn’t like potatoes of all varieties?
What you probably didn’t realize is Potato Corner has five different types of fries with six different flavors to choose from. NThey also have delicious baked potatoes and chicken tenders.
Potato Corner originally came from The Philippines and has a huge following in the Filipino community. It is time we all get on board.
1. Curly Fries
Everyone likes this classic treat – it brings you back to the good old days in elementary school where you could have curly fries as a school lunch option. I highly recommend the curly fries paired with Garlic Parmesan, (pictured above). Curly fries also go great with BBQ and cheddar (two flavors combined that almost taste like Hot Cheetos).
2. Crunchy “Jo Jo” Chips
Jo Jo chips are a classic Potato Chip with a twist, seeing as you can feature any of the 6 amazing flavors, you can really make these pop with flavor. I personally recommend the Jo Jo chips with Sour Cream and Onion. They are like the fresh version of your favorite snack.
3. Tater Tots
Another classic Potato snack that will take you right back to your childhood. This has to be one of my favorite things at Potato Corner. They can make them extra crispy for you and I highly recommend it. The potato stays nice and soft on the inside with a perfect crunch on the outside, combined with to-die-for flavors. It is making me salivate right now.
4. Original “Straight Shoe String” Fries
Everyone loves classic shoe string fries. How can you not love potato greased up and crunchy? Potato Corner definitely does this classic justice. I love these especially because it’s so much better then just getting plain fries from any average take out. Chili BBQ is the way I go on the classic shoe strings because they have that extra “umpfh.” I usually smother my fries with sauce anyway, which you don’t need to do with Potato Corner fries because they are so tasty to begin with.
6. Baked Potato
This one is great for a meal instead of a snack. They have all the classic fixings to put on top of the Potato. It is also a great option if you are sick of fried foods. This meal comes in at only 160 calories if you skip on the sour cream and cheese.
7. Sweet Potato Fries
Get ready for heaven on earth. These are the reason I became obsessed with Potato Corner. If you don’t try these once in your life, you are seriously missing out.
These babies will make you so addicted to Potato Corner, it will be a problem. These majestic fries are coated in Cinnamon and Sugar. That’s right, sweet potato made like churros. Eating these is like going to a carnival and having all of your wildest childhood dreams come true.
The sweet potato adds another level of sweetness that you never knew you were missing. It also kind of tricks you into thinking you are eating healthy. 10/10 would recommend this delicious treat.
