This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Syracuse chapter.

Whether you’re superstitious or just a little-stitious (extra points if you know where this is from), this is a horoscope you’re gonna want to read. It’s not about love, but it may make you fall in love. It’s a food horoscope! Keep reading to find out which national food holiday you should celebrate based on your zodiac sign–celebrate yours, or celebrate them all!

Aries (March 21-April 19)

National Hot and Spicy Food Day – August 19

Aries are known for their spontaneous, daring, active, courageous, and energetic personalities. All of these traits are good ones to have when trying new hot and spicy foods. You need to be daring to and courageous to want to try them. The kick that comes along is the perfect boost of energy. You never know when something is going to be too spicy, and that’s the fun! The hotter and spicier food, the better for all the Aries babies out there.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

National Ice Cream Day – July 21

Taurus characteristics include artistic, stable, trustworthy, and loyal. National ice cream day is perfect because ice cream also contains all of these characteristics. Ice cream is artistic because of the wide variety of flavor options; it is stable, trustworthy, and loyal because you know that ice cream will always be there for you in times of sorrow or need. Ice cream won’t let you down, and neither will a Taurus.

Gemini (May 21- June 20)

National Candy Day- November 4

Geminis are cheerful, enthusiastic, versatile, and witty. It only makes sense that these bright and colorful people deserve the brightest and most colorful holiday! There are hundreds of different candies to choose from whether it be chocolates, sour gummies, or sweet suckers. Nothing screams excited and cheerful like a little kid in a candy store, or on this day, a Gemini in a candy store!

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

National Coffee Day- September 29

Cancers have a reputation of being tenacious, loyal, and strong. Avid coffee drinkers, like myself (I’m also a Cancer) can agree that coffee is all of these things. Many of us need coffee to survive, and the stronger the better. Like the oh-so-loyal ice cream mentioned above, coffee is always there for us in times of need.

Leo (July 23-August 22)

National Champagne Day- December 31

Leos possess nobility, generosity and are very regal creatures. Champagne is drank at almost all holiday/dinner parties being that it is very fancy and very expensive. This holiday falls on another very special national holiday: New Year’s Eve. The most exciting day of the year, and it’s all for the Leos of the world.

Virgo (August 23-September 22)

National Chicken Nugget Day- November 13

Virgos tend to be picky and critical. What better holiday to celebrate than one that everyone loves! Every single picky eater I know likes chicken nuggets. How could you not? Whether you like them with ketchup, honey mustard, or any other condiment, chicken nuggets never disappoint. There is no reason to complain about them, so picky Virgos can enjoy today without an issue.

Libra (September 23-October 22)

National Sushi Day- June 18

Libras are intelligent beings who love excitement, adventure, and the unusual. Raw fish rolled with vegetables and rice is almost as unusual and adventurous as it gets. A very underrated food, sushi comes in so many exciting varieties (with and without fish) that anyone is sure to enjoy— especially a Libra.

Scorpio (October 23-November 21)

National Chocolate Day- October 28

Scorpio babies are strong, willed generous, and loving. A sweet piece of chocolate is the perfect comfort food for someone who deserves some relaxation. Scorpios fight for what they want and work hard to achieve their goals. After a tough day of go-getting, celebrate this day with as much comfort sweets as you want!

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)

National Potato Chip Day- March 14

A curious, energetic, and open-minded person like a Sagittarius should not be afraid to try new things. With so many new potato chip flavors like lime, dill pickle, even cheese and onion, there are hundreds of options to explore. Maybe you’ll find a new favorite!

Capricorn (December 22- January 19)

National Avocado Day- July 31

A Capricorn is known to be ambitious, determined, and helpful—and so are avocados. They are ambitious because they pair with both sweet and savory dishes, and they are determined to continue their trendy and healthy reputation. They also are helpful in making unhealthy options both good for you and good to eat.

Aquarius (January 20-February 18)

National Cupcake Day- December 15

Imaginative and affectionate are two of the best qualities of an Aquarius. This is great for National Cupcake Day because of the imagination necessary when creating cupcake flavors and designs. Cupcakes are also sweet and delicious, and anytime you receive or eat one, you’ll feel warm and fuzzy in your heart.

Pisces (February 19-March 20)

National Pizza Day (February 9)

Pisces are very creative and emotional people, so a good day for them is all about pizza! Anyone can get creative with pizza because you can add whatever toppings you like— pepperoni, pineapple, or even French fries maybe! Pizza is also a fan-favorite comfort food, so whether it’s a good day or a bad one, pizza can put a smile on your face!
