If you’re anything like me then salads aren’t high on your list of favorite foods to cook. Every salad I used to make at home seemed bland and uninteresting, leaving me without a desire to make one. During my salad-making rut I randomly came across a new salad recipe, a fruit salad recipe to be exact. Not only is this salad filled with lots of healthy fruits and vegetables but it’s also loaded with tons of flavor. Feel free to switch up the exact ingredients in this fruit salad recipe to your own tastes, it’s important to experiment in the kitchen!

  1. Wash fruits and vegetables with cold water. Remove skins from kiwi, avocado and oranges.
  2. Quarter strawberries and kiwi into bitesized pieces. Chop avocado, orange and apples into similar bitesized pieces.
  3. In a large bowl combine all ingredients until evenly distributed. Add lemon juice and enjoy!
