This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at MSU chapter.

Granola. When you think of that word, do you think of your baking-obsessed grandma or of a hippie with groovy hair and even groovier pants? Both would love this simple oatmeal raisin granola recipe. It’s easy to make and so delicious that eating it really could bring everyone closer to world peace. It’s perfect eaten in yogurt, atop smoothie bowls, and even by the handful.

You can whip this up in the time it would take to go to the store and buy granola (well, unless you live right next door to a grocery). Plus, it’s a lot cheaper to make than granola is to buy. It might be healthier than store-bought granola too! All you need are oats, a sweetener, spices, nuts, and raisins.
