This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at GWU chapter.

So you have this potluck coming up and you’re panicking because you don’t know what to bring. Just trust your sign and consult this handy list. Don’t worry, I’ve consulted the stars for you.

Your adventurous personality demands that you bring something exciting and full of flavor. This stuffing recipe is simple, but add some fun elements like bacon or brown butter to create a recipe unlike anything you have ever tasted before.

You’re a Taurus—I know how important food is to you. You’re in charge of the main event. Plus, it’s not like your stubborn personality would let anyone else one up you. These turkey recipes are off the wall. If you’re not big on meat, here are some ingredient ideas.

Gemini (May 21-June 20): Green Beans

As a creative person, the dish you bring to a potluck should line up with that aspect of your personality. Push yourself to make this unique take on green beans for Thanksgiving. It’s a bit lighter than the classic green bean casserole, but if anyone can get their friends out of their culinary comfort zones, it’s you.

Cancer (June 21-July 22): Mashed Potatoes

You make people feel comfortable and at home. Mashed potatoes do that too. You know the value of tradition, so try this classic recipe that can be made in one pot and in just 30 minutes.

Leo (July 23-August 22): Champagne

You like to live like royalty. You’re all about the luxury and abundance. There’s no better job for you than to bring a bottle of champagne (or 10). And apparently champagne is good for you, so you’ll be all set to reign supreme for many years to come.

Virgo (August 23-September 22): Salad

As an earth sign, you are attracted to the natural. This salad is light and refreshing, but still filling. It will be one of the first things to go, especially since people think that when they have some salad it erases all of the mashed potatoes they ate that day. No shade.

Libra (September 23-October 22): Pumpkin Pie

Scorpio (October 23-November 21): Gravy
