Vegan Ice Cream Recipes That’ll Convert Any Dairy-Lover

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Colby chapter.

For all of these recipes, you’ll need: a blender or single-serving smoothie maker (I used a food processor, which works just as well), a freezer (mini fridge freezer sections work), freezer baggies, and a major sweet tooth. Here are all of my favorite vegan ice cream flavor combos.

Fruit Prep 101

Difficulty:BeginnerPrep time:2 hours Total time:2 hours Servings:1 servings

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Cut your preferred fruit or fruits into bite-size chunks. Tip: The smaller they are, the quicker they’ll freeze.

  2. Place fruit in a freezer-safe baggie in a single layer. Try to spread the fruit chunks out as much as possible to avoid clumping.

  3. Place baggie in a flat area of the freezer and let chill for 1-2 hours or until fruit is firm. Now you’re ready to make ice cream!

Peanut Butter Dream

  2. Blend until texture resembles actual ice cream (smooth, creamy, and thick). Top with melted peanut butter, granola, or even vegan chocolate. Enjoy!

Who knew vegan ice cream could be this creamy and delicious? Whatever your reason for going dairy-free, you won’t regret giving these quick and easy recipes a try.

I am so in love with both food and writing, and I can't wait to start combining the two!
