This Banana Pancake Chip Ice Cream Is Worth Screaming For

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Binghamton chapter.

On my adventures trying the best kosher ice cream in NYC, I tried what I now consider one of my most favorite ice cream flavors of all time: Pancake Chip. This ice cream literally tastes like chocolate chip pancakes, aka my go-to pancake breakfast, and all I want to know is why the flavor is still not sold in grocery stores. (You reading this, Ben & Jerry’s?)

In the meantime, I found a way to make my own version of Pancake Chip ice cream at home. No lie, this homemade version tastes just like chocolate chip pancakes, too. Plus, it includes bananas—because banana chocolate chip pancakes are undeniably way better.
