No Campfire Required For These S’mores Brownies

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Binghamton chapter.

This s’mores brownie recipe is exactly what it sounds like: a combination of s’mores and brownies. These are two of the greatest desserts to grace this planet, so naturally, when the two are combined, a new delicious masterpiece is created.

This recipe is something I’ve grown up on the past nine years of my life, and is my go-to dessert for any form of party or social event I bring food to. In addition to being tasty, these brownies are easy to make, even for people who aren’t experts in the kitchen like me. S’mores brownies are a game changer, and definitely something worth trying.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Mikaela Orenstein

Make the boxed brownie batter as the package instructs.

  2. Mikaela Orenstein

Bake the brownies 5 minutes less than what the box says. Take the brownies out of the oven, and pour the bag of chocolate chips evenly over the batter.

  3. Mikaela Orenstein

Pour half the bag of mini marshmallows over the chocolate chips.

  4. Mikaela Orenstein

Lay the graham crackers evenly over the marshmallows.

  5. Mikaela Orenstein

Put the brownies back in the oven for the remaining 5 minutes.

  6. Mikaela Orenstein

Once the 5 minutes are up, take the brownies out of the oven and put them on a cooling rack. Gently press down on the graham crackers to make sure they stick to the marshmallows.

  7. Mikaela Orenstein

Let the brownies cool. If you cut them while they are warm, they will fall apart. Once the brownies are completely cool, cut them across the ridges of the graham crackers.

    Dig in and enjoy!
