This Harry Potter Black Tap-Style Milkshake Is Better Than Your Average Butterbeer

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Binghamton chapter.

If you’re an avid fan of the Harry Potter books like I am, then you probably remember Harry’s first time traveling on the Hogwarts Express. Not only did he become acquainted with his two soon-to-be best friends, Ron and Hermione, but he splurged on practically every candy from the snack trolley; and even between him and Ron, ended up having a lot more sweets leftover than he intended.

So, what are two first-year Hogwarts students to do with so much leftover candy (especially when they can’t perform a vanishing spell yet)?

Why, they use them as toppings for a muggle-invented butterbeer milkshake recipe—à la Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer, of course.
