As the Harry Potter fandom returned (Wait. It was never gone) after Seven…uh Nineteen years with “Cursed Child”, the whole world’s eyes turned to everything Potter-related. And what could be more “Potter-y” than the online platform started for Potterheads by J.K ROWLING herself?
Pottermore has been undergoing some serious renovation since September 2015 and with the release of the Cursed Child (play and the script), Rowling has introduced a lot of interesting information. From information on eleven other magical schools besides Hogwarts to our favorite new feature: a comprehensive guide to “Sweets and treats from the wizard world”, you’ll find it all there.
The page lists literally all and I mean ALL of the sweets and candies ever consumed in the books. They are presented through beautiful graphics and animations which make the page even more interactive.
There are sections on muggle sweets, chocolate, joke sweets and even honeydukes. Different types of cakes, sweets, homemade food by Mrs. Weasely and character relations to different types of sweets are also represented in it.
Also, there is a specific section that gives a detailed account of defining food “moments” in the fandom!
So head over to Pottermore.com to check out the full page and the new information, facts and theories on HP Fandom that Rowling herself is writing there.
Though before you do that, here is a sneak preview of the same that Pottermore released in the form of a Youtube video.
