Have you ever imagined yourself wearing a fine tuxedo with a fabulous top hat whilst conversing with a group of ball gown-clad ladies on the topics of historical literature in a thick British accent? No? Well, you really have to work on your creativity then, because an event like this is the dream of any gentleman and gentlelady. And today, I’ll teach you a drink made just for such an occasion — the Whiskey Sour.
This Whiskey Sour recipe is considered one of the OGs of cocktails. It was first created around the 1870s when people first started mixing liquor with other flavourful drinks. Despite its maturity, the Whiskey Sour has aged tremendously well. The simple ingredients and satisfying flavours make this a staple at restaurants, bars, and cocktail parties.
