    Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh diced tomatoes - about 2 medium or 1 small container cherry tomatoes
  • 1 small red or yellow onion
  • 1/2 cup cilantro leaves
  • 1-2 fresh jalapeño peppers - optional
  • 1 lime - juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

    Dice tomatoes and onions into small, even pieces and place in a bowl.

    Finely chop cilantro and jalapeños and add to bowl. For less heat, remove seeds from jalapeños before chopping.

    Add juice of 1 lime and salt to bowl and mix ingredients well. Add more salt, cilantro, and/or jalapeños to taste.
