These Baked Apples Are Begging to Be Topped with Ice Cream

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UGA chapter.

There is more to fall seasonal flavors than just pumpkin spice, and one of the best ways to bid farewell to summer and welcome the incoming season is with a warm, baked apple topped with ice cream

This baked apple is tender while the granola and nuts are crunchy, and the combination of a warm baked good with cold, creamy ice cream never fails to impress. Packed with brown sugar and cinnamon, this dessert is a flavor and texture explosion in your mouth.
