I remember eating multiple bowls of it a day because of how extremely delicious it was and how it kept me cool under the sweltering sun. Now that summer is around again, banana custard is needed! Everyone loves bananas, so here’s a quick and easy recipe that includes bananas and will keep you cool during the summer.
Banana Custard
Ingredients
Instructions
Bring four cups of milk to a boil in a large nonstick pot. Continuously stir the milk so that it does not begin sticking to the pot at any point.
You will need to make the mixture next. Take 4 teaspoons of the vanilla flavored custard powder and pour it into a small bowl. Mix the custard powder in with half a cup of milk and four tablespoons of sugar. Thoroughly mix these ingredients together in the small bowl.
Slowly pour the mixture from the small bowl into the large pan containing the boiled milk. As you are slowly pouring the mixture into the pan, continuously stir all of the contents together. Once the custard has properly boiled, you may turn off the stove and let it sit there for about 10 minutes.
Once the custard has cooled down a bit, you may transfer it into a serving bowl and put it in the freezer. After 15-20 minutes or when it has become cool enough, chop up 2-3 bananas into the custard. Stir the custard and bananas all together until you notice it becomes a bit fluffy.
Voilá! Enjoy this perfect summer dessert that barely took any time and effort!
