Make These Pizza Taquitos in Memory of Glenn Rhee

Our hearts and stomachs need to be comforted, and what better way than with these pizza roll inspired taquitos? This simple recipe is the perfect appetizer to honor your favorite pizza delivery boy. 

Mini Pizza Taquito's Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 jar pasta sauce
• 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
• 10 to 12 flour tortillas
• 36 slices pepperoni
• 1 teaspoon basil
• 1 teaspoon oregano

• Step 1

  Preheat oven to 350 Degrees.

• Step 2

  Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.

• Step 3

  Warm up tortilla for 10 seconds to soften the texture.

• Step 4

  Evenly coat the tortilla with marinara sauce.

  

• Step 5

  Sprinkle the basil, oregano and mozzarella onto the tortilla.

  

• Step 6

  Line the pepperoni on one side of the tortilla.

  

• Step 7

  Carefully roll up the tortilla into a taquito. Be gentle so it doesn't break.

  

• Step 8

  Place the taquitos into the oven and bake for 10 - 15 minutes, or until the edges are slightly brown.

  Remove from oven and enjoy!
