How to Make Kylie Jenner’s “Flakey French Toast”

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at American chapter.

Here we go again with snapchat chef herself, Kylie K. Jenner. She broke the internet with her ramen, slayed us all with her grilled cheese and now she’s schooling us in the breakfast category with her flakey french toast.

If you are scrambling (pun intended) for a last minute brunch recipe, scramble no longer.  This recipe is a wild ride, so get out your Kyshadow because its about to get krazy.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Madelyn Bucher

Crush those Frosted Flakes up, fam (approximately 1/3 of the box). Then pour the cereal into a zip-top bag and get crushing until it resembles bread crumbs.

  2. Pour the cereal crumbs on a large plate.

  3. Madelyn Bucher

Combine eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon in a shallow dish.

  4. Madelyn Bucher

Melt a knob of butter in a pan over medium heat. Medium heat is really important. Keep the butter handy for later.

  5. Madelyn Bucher

Dip a slice of the French Toast bread in the egg mixture. Let it soak for a few seconds.

  6. Flip, and let the other side soak for a few seconds.

  7. Madelyn Bucher

Cover the soaked bread in the cereal crumbs.

  8. Madelyn Bucher

Your butter should be melted by now. Place your flakey bread in the pan. I recommend 4-6 minutes per side.

  9. Madelyn Bucher

Stack up your B-E-A-UTIFUL flakey french toast on a plate and finish it all off with your toppings of choice.

My diet consists of lattes and grilled cheese in that order.
