4-Ingredient Matcha Lemonade That Tastes Just Like Starbucks’

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UCD chapter.

Last month, Starbucks partnered with Lady Gaga to introduce the Cups of Kindness campaign, which has blessed us with two new drinks—the Violet Drink and matcha lemonade. For every purchase of these two drinks, as well as the oh-so-famous Pink and Ombré Pink Drinks, Starbucks vowed to donate $0.25 to Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation, which aims to spread kindness both online and throughout the world. Of the four drinks in the Cups of Kindness collection, matcha lemonade is Lady Gaga’s absolute favorite, which means you have to give it a try.

What makes matcha lemonade so special? The matcha powder doesn’t add too much flavor, but it packs a huge punch of energy with its high caffeine content. It’s definitely the cure for a lazy summer afternoon. So save yourself the trip to Starbucks and whip up some matcha lemonade at home to see why Lady Gaga is so smitten over this trendy green drink.
