3 Avocado Toast Recipes You Can Whip Up in the Dining Hall

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at BC chapter.

Avocado and toast. Name a better duo, I’ll wait.

Nothing makes us feel more ~lavish~ than snapping or gramming the perfect picture of avocado toast at Sunday brunch. However, there are times when our busy class schedule and tight college budget won’t allow us to drop everything and head to Dig Inn or Tatte for your ‘cado fix.

This is where we have to get a little creative with these avocado toast recipes.

Believe it or not, nearly everything needed for the perfect avocado toast can be found in your dining hall. However, if your dining halls are anything like mine (cough cough Mac), the fruit and vegetable selection is very limited and it is likely that avocados are not always available.

In this case, you can either stock up on three or four avocados for the week next time you hit up the local grocery store. If you’re feeling extra creative, you might be able to check the sandwich station at your dining hall and see you you can snag any of their avocado spread.
