Taco Tuesday is more than just a tradition, it's a weekly holiday for many (especially for me). Next time you indulge in taco festivities, try making these vegan lentil tacos. You don't have to be vegan to enjoy good food, do you? Not at all, so don't let the word vegan scare you.

These tacos are for anyone looking to change up their tacos and have a epic food experience. Beans are a great way to give your body protein. Not to mention they're cheaper than most animal proteins and both of the legumes in this recipe contain over 10 grams of fiber per cup.

Beans also easily take on any flavor you mix them with, so if you like spicy add more spicy seasonings. Also, if you blend them right they even have the texture of meat. With the right spices and toppings you won't even realize you're not eating meat. Next Tuesday, or next time you want tacos, try these vegan lentil tacos out.
