I am a Disney lover and love to stay updated on everything going on with the company from the theme parks and movies, to the characters and food. I was scrolling through Instagram the other day and came across a rose gold macaron in the shape of Minnie Mouse.

I am a Disney lover and love to stay updated on everything going on with the company from the theme parks and movies, to the characters and food. I was scrolling through Instagram the other day and came across a rose gold macaron in the shape of Minnie Mouse.

Where To Find It

At first I thought it was someone being creative, but then I realized that they were actually being sold at the parks. The new Minnie Mouse Rose Gold Macarons is currently being sold at the Disneyland resort in Clarabelle's Hand Scooped Ice Cream Shop at Disney California Adventure and at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe at Disneyland

What Is It?

According to Oh My Disney, the "rose gold macaron is a handcrafted French almond macaron, filled with strawberry compote and lemon verbena butter cream, complete with a pink chocolate Minnie bow." They forgot to add that it is topped with edible glitter! Who doesn't like glitter?

Reviews

Unfortunately, I have not made it out to Disneyland to try these treat, but Instagram users @NinaTinkandTaylor and @WeLoveDisneyx5 have different opinions on this treat.

@NinaTinkandTaylor said in an Instagram comment: "Surprisingly I think it’s my favorite now thus far. It has a nice little spice taste coming from the cream and when I bite into the center the strawberry is more like a gelatin consistency but sooo yummy. I like it a lot, I should of brought some home with me. You must have it."

@WeLoveDisneyx5 said in an Instagram comment: "Yes, great for pictures, but I wish it was just a plain vanilla it would taste so much better! 😂"

Price Point And Final Thoughts

These rose gold macaroons are being sold for $5.99 and are likely to be around only for a limited time! I would definitely recommend making the trip to Disneyland to try this rose gold treat before its gone!

Disney has definitely picked up on the rose gold trend with jersey's, ears, cupcakes, and churros. Not only can you take an artsy photo holding the macaron, but pair it with ears and a jersey and you will be rose gold royalty.
