As Cookie Monster once said, ""C is for cookie, that's good enough for me." Cookies are a sweet treat that almost everyone is familiar with for their sweet buttery taste and soft consistency. Dominique Ansel Bakery has taken cookies to the next level with their cookie shot that has caught the attention of thousands on social media.

If you are below the age of 21, you are probably thinking to yourself that you can't enjoy this treat, but guess what? You can.

What Is It?

The cookie shot from Dominique Ansel Bakery is basically what it sounds like. It is moist chocolate chip cookie shaped into a shot glass which is then filled with vanilla milk. According to their website, the milk is made from Tahitian vanilla beans and fresh local milk.

It is a good idea to note that at the Soho location, the cookie shots don't start being being sold until 3pm. I didn't know this at first, but luckily I went at 5pm and they still had plenty.

Where Is It?

Dominique Ansel Bakery has three locations in New York City, two in Los Angeles, and one in London. I visited the Soho location in NYC and was surprised about how big the space actually was. At first glance, the bakery looks small, but if you keep walking past all of the delicious treats, you will find seating areas both indoors and outside. They have a flower wall which is perfect for taking pictures.

What Did I Think of The Cookie Shot?

This is the part of the article you have been waiting for and the one I have been wanting to share. After hearing numerous reviews about the cookie shot from Dominique Ansel Bakery, I knew I had to try it for myself.

First of all the cookie was very soft and chewy which I appreciated because I thought it would be a little harder in order to maintain the shape. I think the cookie could have benefitted from perhaps a little sea salt to really bring out the flavor of the chocolate or maybe some dark chocolate chips.

The vanilla milk was delicious and considering I haven't had milk in several years, I was pleasantly surprised about how tasty it was.

I think the cookie shot itself was delicious, but I think it was a bit underwhelming considering the price. For nearly $5.00, I would have wanted there to be more cookie.

Overall Thoughts

While I do not think I will get the cookie shot again, I would definitely go back to Dominique Ansel Bakery to try more of their sweet creations perhaps the cronuts. The one thing that truly was outstanding was the customer service. Each employee had a smile on their face and you could tell that they genuinely had a passion for the products they were selling.

If anything, I would take a trip to this bakery just to take pictures against the flower wall because it is so gorgeous, but you might as well get a treat too because they are delicious!
