Over the past several months, Disney has been working hard to create colorful and trendy treats for guests of all ages to enjoy when visiting the theme parks. Not only are there rose gold cupcakes and green key lime floats, but now Disney has added iridescent treats to the menu at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

Types Of Iridescent Treats

There are several different kinds of iridescent treats that guests can find throughout Walt Disney World and Disneyland including cupcakes, cookies, and ganache pops. Below you can find information on what and where you can find these iridescent desserts on both coasts!

1. Unicorn Cupcake

Unicorns are not only mystical creatures that appear in the dreams of those both young and old. According to Disney Parks Blog, at Disneyland guests can indulge in a confetti and passion fruit cupcake filled with both passion fruit and mango. This cupcake is frosted with a multicolored white chocolate Champagne mouse and is topped with an edible gold unicorn horn. This cupcake can be found at Jolly Holiday Bakery Café in Disneyland and at Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream and Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Café in Disney California Adventure. In addition to the parks, this cupcake is also available at The Coffee House inside of the Disneyland hotel.

2. Mermaid Cupcake

Not only is this cupcake the perfect shade of blue, but it is also inspired by mermaids. This mermaid cupcake is a vanilla cupcake full of multicolored sprinkles topped with sea foam green buttercream, chocolate crispy pearls, sprinkles, and an iridescent mermaid tail cookie. This cupcake can be found at Walt Disney World in Magic Kingdom at the Main Street Bakery.

3. Confetti Cupcake

The Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World is not only home to Chef Mickey's, but a new confetti cupcake. This cupcake can be found at the Contempo Cafe and is a confetti cupcake with strawberry filling. This cupcake is frosted with vanilla buttercream icing and is topped with crispy pearls and a chocolate Minnie Mouse hat. This cupcake reminds me of the rose gold cupcake which was introduced at Sunshine Seasons in Epcot a few months ago!

4. Cotton Candy Cupcake

Cotton candy is a staple theme park food that is loved by both children and adults alike. At  Disney World's All Star Sports Resort, the End Zone Food Court, the World Premiere Food Court, and The Artist's Palette, guests can find an iridescent cupcake filled with cotton candy marshmallow filling and raspberry buttercream. This cupcake is also topped with a blue Minnie Mouse decoration.

Final Words

In addition to iridescent cupcakes, guests can also find an iridescent unicorn ganache pop inside The Ganachery at Disney Springs and an iridescent krispie treat at the Fountain View in Epcot. There is no word as to whether or not these treats are available for limited time, so I suggest making your way to Walt Disney World or Disneyland to try these treats before it's too late!
