There really is nothing better than an Oreo paired with a glass of cold milk. Which Oreo flavor you choose is always the hardest decision. Anytime I enter the cookie aisle at the store, it seems Oreo has added another flavor to the lineup. Now, it’s time to welcome the latest additions to the lineup for summer: Mint Chip, Sour Patch, and Star Wars-themed Oreos.
Mint Chip Oreo
Starting July 8, Mint Chip Oreo will be available on the shelves of your local grocery store. To craft this delicious cookie sandwich, Oreo has infused the refreshing flavor of mint chocolate chip ice cream into a creamy filling. The cream will be nestled between waffle cone-inspired cookies to offer a delicious twist on the classic Oreo experience.
Sour Patch Oreo
For a sour and sweet mix, Oreo has teamed with Sour Patch Kids to create a limited-edition flavor. The Sour Patch Kids Oreo features two golden cookies sandwiching a burst of colorful cream blended with sour sugar bits. In addition, Oreo and Sour Patch Kids debuted exclusive merchandise on May 2. The merchandise will be available only while supplies last. Customers can browse items including a bucket hat, a crewneck and pants set, and more.
Star Wars-Themed Oreo
Oreo has also collaborated with Lucasfilm to make another dream team. This limited-edition cookie will allow consumers to “discover their destiny.” When opening the package, customers will be faced with the decision: cookies on the dark side or light side of the Force. To enhance the Star Wars design, the cookies will be filled with red or blue cream mixed with sugar crystals to represent crystals found in Lightsabers. The outside of the cookie will have characters such as Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and Yoda.
