DoorDash’s Super Bowl Ad Promises Everything

The Super Bowl is the biggest advertising showcase in the United States — dare I say, one of the best parts of the game? Companies like Doritos, Mountain Dew, Uber Eats, and more are bringing out the most outlandish and iconic commercials that marketing and advertising teams can come up with. They’re even inviting viewers to participate in their sweepstakes. DoorDash is no different, but this year’s ad is even more bizarre.

DoorDash’s Super Bowl Ad

DoorDash’s sweepstakes allow Super Bowl fans and watchers a chance to win everything advertised during the championship game. Yes, that even includes a Volkswagen and a BMW.

The delivery service’s marketing approach relies on other companies’ presence to relay their mission to deliver products to customers’ doors. So unlike UberEats’ recreation of the iconic clip of Victoria and David Beckham’s documentary, DoorDash is pushing the promise of delivering “the best of your neighborhood on-demand” as stated on its website.

All you have to do is watch the game on February 11, obviously. DoorDash will include a “lengthy promotional code” in its ad that is important to memorize.

The second step is entering the code into the sweepstakes website. After hitting enter, provide your name, email, and phone number.

Each viewer gets one entry. If you enter the promo code wrong, you get a second text to re-enter. But if no one enters the promo code correctly, DoorDash will hold a “second chance drawing,” it said. The winner will be randomly picked on Monday and will be notified on that same afternoon.

What does the sweepstakes include?

Besides the previously mentioned brands, the advertising list also includes:

Family-size Oreo packets

Peanut M&M packets

Popeyes chicken wings

Kia

Bars of Dove soap

Reese’s cups

A 30-pound bucket of Mayonnaise

Nerds gummy cluster bags

Pringles cans

The list goes on! According to DoorDash, the estimated cost of the reward is $480,000 but will rise as more advertisers announce their Super Bowl plans. You can monitor the website for the growing list of prizes.
