New Limited-Edition Rainbow OREO’s Are Available For LGBTQ+ History Month

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Hofstra chapter.

Not only is Halloween this month, but more importantly it’s LGBTQ+ History Month. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, this month is especially important to not only raise awareness, but celebrate love in all forms. I love when my favorite brands take initiative to celebrate the community and OREO is doing it with limited-edition rainbow cookies.

OREO’s Limited-Edition Rainbow Cookies

If the creme in the center of an OREO wasn’t already delicious enough, now you can enjoy it in every color of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet and pink. These rainbow OREO’s aren’t only fun to look at, but they are helping support a good cause.

These rainbow cookies are a product of OREO’s partnership with PFLAG National with the debut of a new film, titled Proud Parent.

How To Win These Rainbow OREO Cookies

OREO’s limited-edition rainbow cookies will not be available in-stores. Instead, fans must participate in the #ProudParent campaign by sharing a photo of what allyship means to them on Instagram or Twitter, tagging and following @OREO, and using the hashtags #ProudParent and #Giveaway

Personally, allyship means to be supportive of others regardless of their identity or orientation. At the end of the day we are all people who are worthy of love and respect. Whether it’s telling a friend of you stand with them or donating to LGBTQ+ organizations, there isn’t only one way to be an ally.

Only 10,000 packs of these limited-edition cookies will be available, so make sure to enter the giveaway while supplies last!
