For anyone who doesn't know, Halo Top is a company that churns out low-calorie and low-sugar ice cream that's high in protein. Up until now, all of their ice cream has been made with dairy. However, Halo Top just announced that they will be selling dairy-free pints, so now vegans and carnivores alike can rejoice in this frozen dessert. Made with nutrient-rich coconut milk, these vegan pints are just as healthy and delicious as their dairy ice cream. I was lucky enough to try all of the new vegan flavors, and here are my unofficial rankings.

6. Chocolate

Marisa Palace

This flavor was great, don't get me wrong. However, this was definitely the least exciting flavor of the bunch. It was silky and chocolatey, of course, but sort of plain. It wasn't awful by any stretch of the means, but the rest of Halo Top's vegan flavors beat it out.

5. Oatmeal Cookie

Marisa Palace

This flavor held true to its name, as it was packed with a ton of oat pieces and an oatmeal cookie flavor. It was nice and creamy, however the oat pieces took away from the smooth texture that the other flavors had. If you're into ice cream with lots of mix-ins, though, this flavor is for you.

4. Peanut Butter Cup

Marisa Palace

If you are a peanut butter lover, you'll flip for this flavor. It had a mellow chocolate flavored base with large swirls of peanut butter. The peanut butter swirls were incredible, but I only wish that the chocolate flavor was stronger.

3. Chocolate Covered Banana

Marisa Palace

I love banana flavored anything. The artificial taste just brings me back to my childhood of eating banana Laffy Taffy, and this is exactly what this flavor reminded me of. The delicious banana base was loaded with a thick chocolate fudge swirl, which added a great flavor to the pint. If you are a banana fanatic like I am, this flavor is a winner.

2. Sea Salt Caramel

Marisa Palace

I was amazed by how mouthwatering this flavor was. The base ice cream was sweet caramel and throughout there were salted caramel swirls. The one thing I would change is to make the sea salt flavor come through more. Either way, though, this pint was delectable.

1. Cinnamon Roll

Marisa Palace

Now this one was a complete winner. This pint had a rich and sweet base, and was filled to the brim with chewy cinnamon roll pieces and a sugary cinnamon swirl. This was seriously so good, my description doesn't do it justice. Everything about this cinnamon roll ice cream made it deserving of the #1 spot.

Halo Top has outdone themselves, once again. These vegan flavors fell nothing short of amazing, and had no textural issue like some non-dairy ice creams tend to have. So, whether you are vegan or not, get your hands on some Halo Top. No matter what flavor you choose, you will not be disappointed.
